Letter from the President...

Hi there!

Are you enjoying the last of “those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer”? I don’t know about you, but mine were more crazy than lazy this year! And as I watched the first golden leaves of autumn drift to the ground yesterday, I realize it’s time to get back to busy-ness.

How will your schedule change this September? If you are heading back into the office after a summer (or longer) of being a caregiver, you might want to check out Tips for Parents Returning to the Workforce in 2022.

For so many in the construction industry, September is the hustle time to finish up outside work while the weather is still good. When the work shifts indoors, will secondhand stress be a problem for you? See the post below for dealing with it.

Many of our clients will be busy in the next month or two managing their labor force: comparing salaries and schedules, and budgeting for next year. We can help you get accurate local salary information, based on our daily conversations with workers and managers in the architecture, construction, and infrastructure industries.

I wish you a safe and healthy end to your summer and look forward to a busy and productive autumn!

Keep in touch,
Lynn
