My recent favorite tool for bringing order to chaos is Microsoft's "To Do" app. Categorize both personal chores, like that all-important 'shopping list', and professional tasks such as 'articles to read'. Whenever a new 'to do' pops into your mind, simply add it to your list, and instantly free your mind of that lingering obligation.
What's more, it syncs across all your devices, keeping you organized wherever you are. Picture this: you're in the supermarket and, voilà, you remember to buy eggs by checking your list on your phone. Or, when you finally surrender to the lure of the hammock, your iPad is there to remind you of those intriguing 'articles to read'.
